<Circuit Seoul> is an exhibition platform that showcases the works of visual artists through a system inspired by fashion show. 

<써킷서울>은 패션위크에서 착안한 시스템을 통해 시각예술 작가의 작품을 선보이는 전시 플랫폼이다.

✹ Long Live the Tribe ✹

Mankind in the Paleolithic period painted murals and believed that they possessed the soul of objects, and believed that they gained the power to dominate the painted objects. Because they had to secure food through hunting, they mainly drew animals to pray for success and the well-being of the tribe.

구석기 인류는 벽화를 그려 사물의 영혼을 소유한다고 믿었고, 그려진 사물을 지배하는 힘을 얻는다고 믿었다. 그들은 사냥을 통해 식량을 확보해야 했기에 주로 짐승을 그려 사냥의 성공과 부족의 안녕을 빌었다.
두려움은 익숙치 않음에서 오는데, 동경하는 마음의 이면에도 두려움이 함께 존재한다.
내면의 두려움과 동경의 대상을 상상의 생명체에 투영해 그려냄으로써 실체와 정면으로 맞서고자 한다.
나아가 나와 내 부족원이라 말할 수 있는 주변 사람들의 풍요를 기원한다.
